Barrister (Mrs.) Patience N. Ejimofo
Patience Ndidi Ejimofo, born 24th January 1946, at Achina, Anambra State started her University education in the United Kingdom where she obtained a B.A Degree from the Open University in 1976 doing a 3 year Diploma in Librarianship at Ealing College, London (1974). She proceeded to obtain a PG Diploma in Business Administration, University of Nigeria (1992); an LL.B Degree from the University of Nigeria in 1997, the BL from the Law School, Abuja in 1999 and an LL.M from the University of Nigeria in 2008.
Barrister Ejimofo, an Associate of the Library Association (CILIP), UK since 1974, became a Chattered Librarian of Nigeria in 2001. She has garnered experiences in Library Service as Reference and Young People's Librarian at the Wandsworth Public Libraries, London (1974 - 1977), College Librarian at the Notre Dame School, London (1977 - 1981), Technical Services Librarian, University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus Library (1981 - 1999), Law Librarian, University of Nigeria (1999 - 2004) and Deputy University Librarian/ Associate Professor, University of Nigeria (2004 - 2011).
Mrs Ejimofo was the Vice-President, Nigerian Association of Law Librarians, Legal Adviser to Nigeria Association of Women Librarians, Vice President of Nigerian Library Association (Enugu State Chapter), Council Member of the Nigerian Library Association. She is a Member, Nigerian Bar Association and the International Federation of Female Lawyers (FIDA) (1999 - Date).
Barrister Ejimofo has several publications to her credit and has received some awards.
